little ludwig

as i got ready to head downtown this afternoon, the doorbell rung and it was one of my fave former piano students, william, more affectionately known as "little ludwig", who had come for his piano lesson (he now learns from my mom). as per usual, he was as cute as a button and beamed as i opened the door for him and his dad to come in. i couldn't help but smile as he rambled on a mile a second in his cute 6-yr-old voice telling me all about his new toy trains, his x'mas vacation, and school. then he told me that he was planning on making himself a train that would transport passengers from toronto to new york city, and that he would let me ride it for only $1 since i would get a special discount (everyone else would have to pay $100 and more). i told him to save me a spot. what a little sweetie pie! :)
