just got in this morning, which was quite a miracle considering the mix-up that i discovered an hour before my departure with my ticket being reserved and confirmed but yet somehow not issued...not sure about the logic behind that, but since i don't usually fly american airlines, who knows...in any case, i must give mad props to my mama for:
a) donating her hard-earned air miles so that i could fly home this weekend to spend some qt with my fam
b) calling and sorting out the mix-up with the airlines at 7:20AM in the morning in the midst of all the usual morning chaos of getting ready for work, fighting traffic, etc.
c) handling all sorts of stress on a daily basis while she takes care of 2 "kids" at home and 1 "kid" a country away.
i'm sure i am more than a handful at times and most definitely don't say thank you enough, but i am truly thankful to have such a wonderful mom in my life.
